- From 2005 Urology residency at the University Medical Centre Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE), with clinical and scientific focus on urological oncology, including the diagnosis and treatment of prostate carcinoma
- 2009 One-year research stay at the University of Montreal, Canada
- Clinical and surgical specialisation in the area of prostate carcinoma
- From 2011 Consultant at the Martini-Klinik, contributor to the special consultation clinic on the treatment of advanced prostate carcinoma
- Since 2013 Consultant, member of the Martini-Klinik faculty

- Numerous academic publications on forecasting models and predictors of outcome quality following radical prostatectomy
