• Studied human biology at the University of Marburg
• Studied medicine at the University of Marburg and Goethe University Frankfurt; residencies in Bad Wildungen, Berlin and Hamburg
• 2003 Consultant at the Clinic and Policlinic for Urology at the University Medical Centre Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE)
• 2007 Appointed senior consultant at the Clinic for Urology and Paediatric Urology at Ruppiner Kliniken (now UKRB) in Neuruppin
• Since 2010 Employed at the Martini-Klinik
• Surgical focus: Radical, nerve-sparing prostatectomy
• Additional specialist title awarded in the fields of andrology and drug therapy for tumour diseases
• Numerous academic publications, predominantly on quality of life and functional outcomes following radical prostatectomy
• Member of the German Urology Society (DGU) and European Association of Urology (EAU)
