• From 2005 Urology residency at the University Medical Centre Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE), with clinical and scientific focus on urological oncology
• 2008 One-year research stay at the University of Montreal, Canada
• 2011 Urology specialist
• 2012–2014 Consultant in the Urology department at UKE
• 2012 Habilitation in Urology
• 2014–2017 Consultant in the Urology department at Regio Klinikum Wedel and Elmshorn
• From 2017 Consultant and member of the Martini-Klinik faculty
• Numerous academic publications, focusing on treatment for prostate carcinoma
• Reviewer for numerous national and international scientific journals
• 2014–2017 Leader of the “Prostate carcinoma – clinical” research group of the German Society of Residents in Urology (GESRU)
